Kedaulatan Rakyat

Kedaulatan Rakyat (KR) is a daily newspaper in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Established by H. Samawi and H. Soemadi Martono Wonohito. Its name translates in English as "People Sovereignty". This newspaper company was led by H. Soemadi M. Wonohito (died in 2008). First edition of this newspaper published on September 27, 1945.

Kedaulatan Rakyat or commonly called by its abbreviation, KR, is a daily newspaper with 16 pages in its beginning editions. Recently, KR has been a largest newspaper in Yogyakarta and Southern Central Java and its circulation reachs 125.000 copies.

Kedaulatan Rakyat motto is "Suara Hati Nurani Rakyat" or "People's Conscience Voice".
